Tray icon running start up scan constantly

My problem is exactly like one recently posted.😒

First of all please try uninstalling your ESET and installing the latest v14.2.19 from scratch using default settings.

Should the problem persist, what does the tooltip read if you hover the mouse cursor over the ESET icon? Also please open a support ticket with your local ESET distributor since further investigation will be necessary.

Thank you, Marcos, for your prompt suggestions. I decided to update Windows to the latest edition before trying your suggestions. After updating the Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1, the ESET tray icon stopped constantly spinning and ESET seems to be working fine.
