ESET SMS tool instantly crashes

Hi! I've downloaded the SMS tool for ESET Mobile Security, because thanks to google the original feature doesn't work anymore, but I think SMS commands is a cool feature nonetheless. So I installed this new apk, however as soon as I run it, it crashes.

(SMS Tool - the applicatiom has stopped: <restart application>)

I have no idea what to do about it, so pls help me out if you can.

I use an Xperia Z5C: with stock Android7.1.1

Since we haven't come across a case when the tool was crashing, I can only recommend to open a ticket with your local ESET support.
