Not sure if anyone else has seen this issue or not.I have an HP Envy printer that I use for work and for the past few weeks it keeps getting blocked by ESET. I've seen the steps needed to prevent this on the ESET support pages so it doesn't block the printer over the network. The problem is, I'm using it on a direct USB connection and not over the network. It just blocks the entire printer from the system and show my printer is offline. If I temporarily disable the firewall and plug it back in, the printer comes online. I turn the firewall back on and after a random amount of time, the printer goes offline again. Can't seem to find a way to stop it. I don't have device control on either so that isn't the issue.

If the printer is connected via a USB cable, disabling the firewall should have no effect on it. I'd rather expect Device Control to affect USB devices. Are there any recent blocked connections in the firewall troubleshooting wizard when the issue occurs?
