Marcelinho 0
If i use a infected USB drive without scanning it for infected files, am i properly protected if i use that usb drive (real time protection set to the maximum).
Administrators Marcos 4,706 Posted October 9, 2019 Administrators Share Posted October 9, 2019 I'd prefer running a drive scan first. While it is true that real-time protection should detect and blocked most malware, I can image some hiding in installers that might not be detected by real-time protection and would require the AMSI scanner which was first added in Windows 8.1.
