Could someone help me find out how to change the first two selections from grey to selected please? When I click on the preferences the screen doesn't seem to have anything to change. Please see second image.

If you have advanced setup completely blank as shown above, remove ESET in safe mode using the uninstall tool (https://support.eset.com/kb2289/) and then install v12 from scratch.
