bundlegrape 0
I've had this program called Recover Keys for quite a while, and it's basic function is to find product keys on your computer in case you forgot them. However, ESET just recently detected it's executable file as Win64/RecoverKeys.A - what does this mean? Is the program itself confirmed to be malicious? Or is this similar to Advanced Systemcare where the program is just deemed to be deceptive and not trustworthy?
Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted March 15, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 15, 2017 Applications like this one which serve to find and display a license key for particular software or the operating system fulfill the criteria for potentially unsafe applications. This kind of detection is disabled by default in ESET's products. If you don't want to disable detection of pot. unsafe applications completely, expand "More info" and select to exclude the signature from detection.
