I believe its against the forum rules to compare with other AVs. Each AV has their own advantage. Best thing to do would be to test them

I'm sorry if i made mistake

we have prospective customer use that competitor product and we want switch with Eset Product
but i'm not sure what Eset bundle product to offer to them.

today, i start trial their product.

I'm not familiar with the mentioned competitive solution but from what I've read, ESET does not provide virtual patching and vulnerability scanning (yet).

At https://www.eset.com/int/about/technology/ you can read more about proprietary ESET technology for malware detection and prevention. We also offer an EDR/XDR solution ESET Inspect for monitoring operations carried out on machines in the network and automatically taking an action defined by particular detection rules. For a complete overview of our business and enterprise solutions, please visit https://www.eset.com/us/business/mdr-protection-bundle/.

    thank you Marcos.

    Hi santoso,

It looks like you are missing official repositories in your apt sources. Unmet dependencies from yours output are downloaded from official debian repositories. Please check you apt sources file ("/etc/apt/sources.list") or sources directory ("/etc/apt/sources.list.d/"),  at least these repositories needs to be defined there:

    deb hxxp://deb.debian.org/debian buster main
    deb-src hxxp://deb.debian.org/debian buster main

    deb hxxp://security.debian.org/debian-security buster/updates main contrib
    deb-src hxxp://security.debian.org/debian-security buster/updates main contrib

    deb hxxp://deb.debian.org/debian/ buster-updates main contrib
    deb-src hxxp://deb.debian.org/debian/ buster-updates main contrib

    Thank you Kurco,

I change repository and ot work great.

    Best regards,

I've submitted the file to samples[at]eset.com to get it checked. I'll let you know when I hear back about the result.

    Thank you.

Also, I don't use Edge but I did open it to see if I could duplicate this issue. Other than it appears to have recently updated, I did not receive any Eset detection. Ditto for a second opening of Edge. Now I do use uBlock Origin on Edge , so it is possible it is blocking the source of this Javascript detection on the Edge home (default one) page.

i install it, but Eset still detect.

looks like an extension. I would  reset the browser and check if the detection still occurs.

yes, at first i think it's because extention. then i remove all extention, reset settings but still.

  5. Hello,

Is this real trojan or false positif?

  6. Thank you Marcos for mail box counting information

User said they have 2000 mailbox but, because pandemi they only will buy 700 seat.

    I read this and found
    https://support.eset.com/en/kb3110-licensed-number-of-mailboxes-exceeded-for-eset-mail-security-for-ibm-domino-server

"If after 42 days additional licenses have not been entered to cover the unprotected mailboxes, your Protection status will change to RED. You will receive a notification that your protection has been disabled. If you receive the notification shown below, immediately contact your sales representative to purchase additional licenses."

    SOLN3110FIG1-3.png

So, if user insist buy only 700 seat, then after 42 days, ESET Mail security for exchange will disable automatically?

    Thank You,
