  1. Good morning, we have currently two problems with ESET Endpoint Antivirus in combination with ESET PROTECT Management Server. Our customer has a policy with Device Control for all their Windows clients. The policy does not allow CD/DVD. Phones and USB-Devices are also not allowed except devices with specific serial number. This policy is on every device. We tested it on one device. Our first problem is that, when we slide in a music CD, the client starts playing the CD but in the right corner ESET is saying "CD/DVD blocked". The music player is open and music starts playing. The second problem is with a allowed phone connecting to a client via USB. If we plug in the phone the first time it works, but if we reconnect the phone once or twice, ESET blocks the device. If we wait like 2 minutes and try it again, it works normally. Reconnecting the same phone more than once or twice (not sure atm) at the same device blocks the device for short time at the client. I don't know if this is a security feature or not. Thanks in advance.
  2. Thank you for your answer. FYI: When you install the "Server_x64.msi" alone, you can choose an directory at the end, but if you use the normal Setup.exe, like the screenshot above, you cannot change it. I installed an SQL instance with the normal SQL installer, installed ESET Protect with the "Server_x64.msi" and the rest got installed with the "Setup.exe". For anyone having the same problem.
  3. Good afternoon, my co-worker somehow managed to install ESET Protect Server in a different path then C:\, for example E:\. He doesn't know anymore how he did it. He said he did use the ISO image (All-In-One). While installing ESET Protect Server, I have no option to change the directory. I've seen that you can change the directory with an .msi, which is in the "Installer" folder. How do you change the installation directory of ESET Protect Server setup? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hello @Peter Randziak, it looks like it's working again. If I hear something different, I'll get back to you.
  5. You can check any status of the servers on: https://status.eset.com/ epns.eset.com seems down since 2hrs.
  6. Today, May 3th 2023, epns.eset.com seems down. Our clients can't use 2FA. Anyone else having the problem?
  7. Try again in one hour, the support said that there is a problem with the main server.
