  1. There are also several options for locating the workstations on a network. You can create an IP subnet range and have a list of all the hardware pop up as well if not pulled from ldap etc. I think the key thing that we are missing here is that we are an MSP and the RSAT server is not on the same network as the machines we are trying to perform the upgrade on. So scanning a subnet/ip range isn't going to work.
  2. Alright, I tried that, but now the issue is that the 'Update Windows Client' doesn't allow for an uninstall. Presumably this is a safety feature that prevents you from uninstalling the product without being able to reinstall it.
  3. This might sound like a dumb question, but if I push an uninstall, wouldn't I not be able to push the install since I no longer have the product checking in...? I'm an MSP so the RSAT tool doesn't have a connection to the network the machines are on.
  4. We are currently using 5.0.2214 Does Windows push work if I am deploying this to a network RSAT isn't on? We're an MSP that manages dozens of ESET deployments on different networks.
  5. Recently, I've had a number of clients become interested in upgrading their ESET Endpoint Antivirus to ESET Endpoint Security so they can leverage the Web Filtering feature. I have all the clients in RSAT, however whenever I try to push the package for ESET Endpoint Security, it comes up with an error saying that "No upgrade is available for this client" I've tried manually updating using both an .exe and .msi and it still complains that the product exists on the machine already, even though it is technically different. How can I do this without having to touch all of these machines?

  7. That appears to have fixed it. Thanks!
  8. This option is greyed out on the client. I went ahead and set this on the server anyway, but the client is still greyed out and inactive. How do you force the client to grab a new config from the server?
  9. I have ESET Endpoint Security Deployed to about 10 workstations. They are properly licensed, and I have a policy I've deployed through RSAT that filters certain sites. However, on all but one of the workstations, I get an error that says "Web control is not functional, because superior program modules do not work" What does this mean? I was getting this error on one machine, but after leaving it alone for a day it went away and randomly started working. Also, what is the fastest to cause a policy refresh so I can unblock certain websites as the need arises?
