KaewCYJ 0
Can I delete the mirror folder as the drive used to store the mirror folders is full?
Administrators Marcos 5,243 Posted July 26 Administrators Share Posted July 26 It's up to you. If you don't need to update from the mirror, there's no reason to keep it on the disk. If you want to relocate it to another disk, make sure to update ESET's update server settings on clients as well if the path changes. KaewCYJ 0
Let me ask again. I have created a mirror update file on my own machine, which was created since 2022. Then I put the mirror folder on the main machine for clients to update. I do this every week. When I get a new mirror update file, I will put it in the folder of the main machine to update. In that folder, there is update data that is a . nup file from previous years to the present. Can I delete the update files that are . nup from previous years? It is not clear how you create the mirror. There are basically two ways: 1, using the updater which is part of our products, 2 using the ESET Mirror tool. If you update just one machine from the mirror, only a few files are needed, depending on how many updates the client missed. It's very likely that older files from the previous year and earlier will never be needed so you could try to delete them and see.
