AOL Instant Messenger Functionality

Hi, I've done some googling and haven't been able to turn anything up on this yet and didn't really know where else to go for information about this. I regularly use this messenger for some of my contacts and suddenly, completely out of the blue, I've been bombarded with notifications from Nod32 that a web address prompted by AIM has been blocked. The address in question is: api.aim.net and it's been blocked by the Anti-Phishing Blacklist. The IP address listed is somewhat variable. This is exceedingly irritating and I can't figure out if this is a false flag, or something to actually be concerned about. I need this program for certain contacts, and would appreciate any information you might have on this issue.

Thank you,

Felix
