I can confirm that changing both the registry entries to %SystemRoot%\system32\windows.storage.dll works. I would have really hated having to switch from Nod32 on my personal devices. I still remember when more than a thousand machines on our office network kept getting BSODs within a few seconds of boot due to a messed up Mcafee update.

What value do you have in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{42aedc87-2188-41fd-b9a3-0c966feabec1}\InProcServer32\(Default) ? Type is REG_EXPAND_SZ and data is %SystemRoot%\SysWow64\shell32.dll

I have updated to pre release and have cleaner module 1112 (20150924), but the problem still persists.
