Marcos, thank you. That was my point - offline license with FS and current release do not match. LF for product 211 works. We will wait for next service release.

So why is not working. I can not activate product with offline license where the product code is 318. This is what we get...

Yes i know, but how to get installer for that product = 318? It is not available. For instance = https://www.eset.com/sk/firemna-it-bezpecnost/stiahnut/server-security-windows/ , this is product code 211.

Good morning, we have still troubles to "activate" FW feature in Eset Server Security -11.0.12008.0 in offline environment. We can "generate new offline license", there are 2 options for Eset Server Security. But we are unable to activate this product. We checked lf files (working offline LF without FW featureand new LF with FW feature), and there are differences : those files are for different products - working one is for Product Code - 211 (Eset SErver Security for Microsoft Windows Server) , other one Product Code - 318 (Eset Server Security). How we can download installer for product CODE=318??? Not available online, viac eba portal. Please can you fixed this.... Otherwise there is no possibility to use FW feature, even we have Enterprise License... Thank you in advance.

Marcos is right. We want to use FW module on new ESS version 11.xxxx . We have been waiting for a while for this feature in ESS product. The current offline license do not cover ESS FW module. We generate new ONE as Marco advised, but it was not accepted with ESS v. 11.xxx with "Activation FAILED License and Product do not match."

Tried to update installer as well with new license = the one with FW but no luck. Something is wrong.

Try to regenerate Offline licence - NO PROBLEM. Try to apply license to ESS product - "Activation FAILED License and Product do not match"... Try to applu license with "old" license file for ESS - NO PROBLEM...

Hello guys, we do not have Firewall module at all. Tried to install ESS from msi, from Eset Protect, from auto-update still firewall module missing. According to help "The Firewall is available only if you have an active ESET PROTECT Entry Tier subscription and above." We have ESET PROTECT Enterprise subscription. Are we missing something??? We are working in offline environment (offline mirror, offline license etc..).

Quick update, EFDE 1.4.58.0 has same issues 😞

Kstainton, I do understand to see log for better picture. But I will wait for software update, and then recheck everything. For now we use Eset FDE 1.3.4.39.

Another quick update on EFDE v1.4.52.0. Maybe it is just coincidence on our environment, but EFDE does not react on encryption policies (e.q start decryption, stop encryption) via ESET PROTECT On-prem. As a workaround we have to Repair installation and policy is updated. This is just remark for devel. team for EFDE software update.

Quick update, same situation in terms of EFDE reinstallation using Software install task without assigned offline license. We still have 30 minutes. We will wait for software update.

Hi Kstainton, Just to clarify, we used installer task with offline license, after 30 minutes EFDE becomes "not activated". We trigger activation task, which activate product. Then again in 30 minutes EFDE becomes "not activated", even .lf file is missing in the programdata dir for EFDE. THen another loop - Activated - Deactivated - Activation Task - Activated - Deactivated .... ano so on. I can try to uninstall EFDE, and install it without offline license, and then use activation task... I will let you know result.... Thank you.

Hi Kstainton, you are right. We use automatic activation task for product that has problem with activation, for instance during installation task. We have dynamic group based on Security product and Activation problem (not activated). On this group we have task to activate this product. In my case, product is activated with offline lic, I can find it in ProgramData/eset/EFDE/AIS/License folder. In the log I can see the strange behaviour - Offline licence is still not activated online.... License file is downloaded from our EBA account. How offline file can be verified online in offline environment, that is purpose of the offline file not??? Thank you, for replicate problem.

Hi Kstainton, when you follow log, 5 lines later there is Activation task by agent, and success activation with license... And after 30 minutes this state" [2023-12-04 00:40:12.469] [licence] [info] [3980] Offline licence is still not activated online so will attempt to activate it Then Activation task again. And this is going in the endless loop...
