I found the same thing. The Action Center icon gives no indication, however when I open up the Action Center, I am able to see 'ESET Smart Security 9.0.111.0 is turned off' under Virus Protection.

Have you tried to double click on the slider bar? Doing that should automatically adjust the field size and then you should only have to use the scroll bar at the bottom of the page saving you a lot of time.
