  1. Many of my clients in Hawaii are having trouble connecting to the Eset Update Server. Definitions are updating fine. But Eset checks for program updates are failing with an error: Could Not Connect to Server. Apparently, Eset uses different servers for definitions and program updates. Eset, please resolve this issue with your servers servicing Hawaii. See attached screenshots. Thank You.
  2. v13.0.24.0 Released today. How about some release notes / list of changes ESET? Thanks.
  3. Same exact situation. Same Issue. Eset needs to fix this.
  4. I unsubscribed from Premium for the following reasons: 1. Eset Anti-Theft does not work with the Samsung Galaxy S10 and has not been fixed in months. See: https://forum.eset.com/topic/18828-anti-theft-not-compatible-with-new-samsung-galaxy-s10/ 2. I was charged $14.99 for a premium renewal, but the app expired and said Free. I restarted the phone which didn't help. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app which didn't work either. I notified Google and they refunded the charge. Apparently Eset is not properly supporting this product anymore. Sad.
  5. Eset Anti-Theft does NOT work with the new Samsung Galaxy S10. Please fix it ASAP. Thank You. Bug: When the device is marked as Missing or with a Test, location and pictures are NOT sent unless the S10 screen is turned on (unlocked). In other words, Anti-Theft does not wake the device. The siren does not play either - unless you turn on the screen first. The online control panel under activity shows "Anti-Theft test timed out". The only way to prevent time-out is to turn on the S10 screen (unlock the phone) - which of course defeats the purpose of Anti-Theft.
  6. The issue has not re-occurred for my clients since Thursday. It appears to have been an intermittent Eset server issue.
  7. This is happening on my client workstations throughout the country. This is an Eset issue. Thanks.
  8. Several different computers in different states with Eset NOD32 v12.0.31.0 are randomly reporting this error: During execution of Update on the computer xxx the following event occurred: File not found on server.
  9. I excluded the URL: hxxp://g-ec2.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/x-locale/cs/te/MagicPixel.png Note: Replace hxxp with http By adding it to Eset as follows: Setup, Internet Protection, Web Access Protection, URL Address Management, Address List, List of Allowed Addresses. This resolved the issue until Eset fixes this false positive.
  10. False Positives – Just today, all Amazon order email confirmations are now triggering an Eset popup alert every time you view an Amazon email. I forwarded the emails to samples@eset.com Eset Log: hxxp://g-ec2.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/x-locale/cs/te/MagicPixel.png Blocked by internal blacklist C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE Note: VirusTotal.com No engines detected this URL EXCEPT Eset... 13. Any idea when the hotfix will be released or fixed binary in the mean time?

  15. MANY small and home businesses use Eset "home". Why? Because they don't want to spend up to 4x the cost. Your "home office" starts at 5 endpoints for $165. Not practical for a home office consisting of 1 or 2 PCs or a small business with 4 to 10 PCs. So, the conclusion is that Eset Home is NOT just for "home users". Perhaps you should have a true small or home office version. Right now, you don't. So the "home" version is considered for use by small and "home office" users. This is the reality of your home and business models.

  17. I just received this email Nonsense from Eset Support. This bug effects ALL users that have email notifications on and is easily reproducible by Eset. As I previously stated, I manage over 20 home/small business computers with Eset NOD32 11.2.49. ALL have the same issue. In addition, many other customers have complained about the same bug. An ESET Technical Support Representative has updated this case with the following information: Greetings Marc, We apologize for the delay in response. Our developers have informed us that we will require logs from the computers being affected by this issues. Additionally, they requested to reconfigure the settings within the email notifications to ensure all have been set properly. To identify your issue and help you resolve it, we need to collect additional information about your system configuration and any installed ESET antivirus product. For illustrated instructions to use the ESET Log Collector visit: hxxp://support.eset.com/zap/KB3466/ We will examine the logs and respond as soon as possible with the recommended action based on our findings. Thank you for using ESET security products, ESET Technical Support North America My Reply: Nonsense. This bug effects all users that have email notifications on and is easily reproducible by Eset. Please check with your managers and read this so you can be brought up to date on the status of this bug and the fix. “It was already confirmed as a bug and fixed. The fix will be included in the next hotfix.” See: https://forum.eset.com/topic/16105-112490-email-notification-works-not-as-expected/
