I don't doubt your examples. IF I stopped the scans (interrupted) I don't remember that BUT just now I finally did a system Re-Start to Stop the Scan that had been running this afternoon (System Re-starts for Other reasons MAY be part of the interrupts I don't recall). Since the Scan Screen was White / Blank for the morning scan & This afternoon one, there was Not the STOP button I recall using to Cancel some prior Scans ..... As I assume you just used.
It's probably more irritating than a Functional Crisis - as I'm not designing NASA rockets on this desktop - but I'll get my facts together and send Sppt something soon If I can't figure this out.

As stated 1st sentence .... Sched Scans are Sun-Mon-Wed-Fri and (from log look) the 7:01 Not Scanned dates shown and Prior ARE Schedule Days BUT they are Random.
Probably more Important is ..... There is a SCAN RUNNING NOW 12:58 PM CDT but Nothing shows in the Scan Module Page. I Don't Know IF this is the Same Scan I saw first at 7:29 this morning, or another as I've been away.
I SEE a lot of Interrupted Scans in Logs Scans But I'm Not the one doing the interrupting because there is Nothing on the Scan Page to Clk - it's Blank - And I'd remember all of the Interrupted's I see..

Scheduled Scans Sun - Mon - Wed - Fri ....
On random days I see in Logs a -- 7 am Scheduled Scan Completed -- AND a -- 7:01:xx Scan Did Not Run ..... THEN, at maybe 7:20something a Long Scan is Running again BUT the SCAN Page is Blank - No Activity dots, etc. ----- Current Scan I noticed at 7:29 is still running at 7:47.
Today (2/17) My LOG page shows System Startup (And/Or Module Update Scan) ran at 5:41 WITH Log Maint;
I also see the (2/17) 7 am Scan Completed BUT the 7:01 Scan -- That Did Not Run -- shows as the Last Scan Run.
WHY am I getting days with a 7;01 Scan That Does Not Run and More Scans like I first noticed at 7:29 still going at 7:57?

BBP can best be described as ..... "hardening" your browser against malware attacks; especially those employed by banking trojans and the like.
If you observe a BPP session running in Process Explorer, you will see your browser running as a child process under Eset's kernel process, ekrn.exe.
You will also see eOPPFrame.exe running as a child process that additionally.... assists with detection of any browser tampering.
Finally, Eset injects a .dll into the browser that will scramble all your keystrokes so you're protected against both browser based and global keyloggers.

Stop and think what you're suggesting (ie) IF Eset 'Sees" the letter characters... b a n k .... in those positions, Apply BPP automatically. What happens with -- b a n k e r --? Key letters are there, WHAT does ESET do? Some Financial companies don't even have b a n k IN their Name, BUT you'd likely want BPP.
Take a deep breath and manually apply BPP when desired.

I have been using ESET Premium, Mbam Premium, AND SuperAS Pro - all real-time & have NEVER had a hiccup - this over many years. YOUR experience is what matters BUT I'd get it. Mbam probably has a Trial period and they really try to help in Sppt Forum.

This might help someone with Premium Upgrade ....
Marcos, your Upgrade Path (Change Product) above showed Premium ONLY Because you had it; NOT offered with just EIS, SO I simply upgraded via - (Eset eStore) buy.eset.com/us/ etc/ etc site that shows Eset License Management on the page. 2-Yr Lic respected my Current Expiration to Net 10/14/24...
There WAS a Dnload button BUT it opened an Online site and the Existing App was just upgraded Internally. I DID see a note Re-Start ESET to Activate New Features and Did So. The Dnload button site ALSO allowed a Mod to Default ON Auto-Renew - WHICH requires 1-Clk Email Verify to do.
License Key and Public ID remain same and I presume User ID is, too, though Not mentioned. FYI.....

Thanks, but my main concerns were the Correct Upgrade Install sequence - and - Does Live Guard require any Special Setup entries that I wouldn't know how to do.
I'll just proceed as I think the process requires and update IF I have issues.

With 35 days left to normal Renewal it appears a 2-Year Upgrade NOW to Premium respects my Oct expiration for a new expire of 10/14/24.
Presume I'll get a New KEY to be used after Premium dnload and install start.
Uninstall EIS via Control Panel / Re-Start / Dnload Premium and Install - OR another sequence ?
My Premium interest is Max protection with Live Guard; ...... Does LG require Any Special Configuration to start (ie) maybe a cousin to something like Interactive FW setup?
Any clarification is appreciated!!

In Settings/ Win Security / Virus-Threat Protect .. at bottom I clk'd Check for Updates and it appeared to be doing so.

I Disabled Real-Time Protection in Adv Settings, got a W10 Notification -- BOTH ESET And Defender were OFF -- BUT (as Marcos stated) Defender shows Active in Settings / Virus & Threat Protection.
@itman.... HOW do you "force the WD Update sigs" -- WHAT Tells you it's Ready to do so -- and WSC Monitoring is over a few hours to detect/offer? or Into Next day?

Sorry to Bump other Threads but this is the last ....
At a Re-Start Win 10 popup-- Someone Else is Using the Computer - Re-Start Anyway? -- When I look at the Start / Profiles icon I see my main Admin Acct AND the Phantom Acct Profile icon BUT Phantom shows -- Sign-In -- when I clk it. Can't determine WHY Win 10 would say someone else is using computer ---- UNLESS I'm being Hacked & don't see it.
To DELETE the Phantom Acct & Profile is it Best via Eset Home / Anti-Theft module/ Settings/ Phantom Acct state / Delete -- OR via Control Panel User Accts? Will do that & see what happens.

Thanks, Marcos, but THAT link, Too, gets the same "Green Block" page I first posted about with ... Choose an Option B4 Contacting.
The Key (from that page) is knowing the --- 6 Links Clk's requd to find the Form.
The 7 Steps (6 from your link) just above should be made into a Sticky as your recommending Opening a Ticket is (currently) just a recipe for frustration. Me not finding the Form is expected --- itman not finding it is Proof.

In a similar issue MY Solution per Marcos was .... Adv Setup/Update module/Profiles/ My profile - Updates/ Ask Before Downloading was Chk'd (not by me) ... so I got the -- Interrupted by User per Gold Flag in Sys Tray....
Just for fun, why not chk that....
