I now upgraded successfully To ESET 7 but loosing My locale and Update Feature because it says Not activated… i had Problem while Upgrade. It said Not found essetinst.msi or similar and couldn't stop eset ekrn Service. Restarting many times and repair install solved it. Lucky i did Export settings before. Could Import Fine into Version 7. IDS rules didn't ? Well afterwards upgraded Windows Version 8 To 8.1 everything works good so far. nice To see that early Support.

is it possible to upgrade eset 6 to eset 7 preview and windows 8 to windows 8.1 afterwards? So, windows upgrade wouldn´t be unprotected and still use prior eset rules and config somehow? import?

problem solved 1. Give a name of rule like: “exception for windows blinds” 2. Source applications tab: “Add..” -> select file: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\WindowBlinds\WBCore.exe” (depending on where WindowsBlinds is installed) 3. Target applications tab: Allow operations all operations* -> choose target process as “C:\Windows\System32\winlogon.exe” 4. Save a rule, apply Style No reboot required. eset got transparent borders now too

hi, i try To connect To a vpn by openvpn over udp:53 it does work. But is very slow if eset Firewall is Online. if i Turn Firewall Offline My vpn is Back with full speed. so it isn't blocked at All.
