schuetzdentalCB replied to schuetzdentalCB's topic in ESET Endpoint Products

Hi, we have HIPS activated in Eset Antivirus Endpoint with Best Practices Ransomware. Now the Client's Endpoint wants to know if Google Chrome Extension is allowed to delete a Registry File? hxxp://saved.im/mtg4ndayadln/nameimage001.jpg Should i allow or deny that one? I think it tries to change Proxy settings? Its the "File Explorer" Extension which tries to do that. How can i change my settings to deny or allow that to Google Chrome? I dont want to manually accept or deny that HIPS question on every client by myself.

Hey, i just updated 3 Computers through ERA Client-Task to the newset 6.4.2014.2 Version of Endpoint Security. But a new created Activation Task isn't working. It fails on all of the 3 Systems. After some reboots i updated Agent Service through a Client-Task but still the same Problem. The Endpoint Software updated successfully on the Client Machines but it is marked as "failed" in the Client-Task Report... Isn't 6.4.2014.2 a stable Version? There is no errorlog in the Events-Logfile of Endpoint so i have no idea why it isnt activating it again... ERA-Server is already updated to the newest Version!! Please help me

Hi, I'm Unable to activate FileSecurity but Endpoint Clients with Proxy & Agent Policys are able to get activated at ERA Admin Panel. I really have no Idea what this could be? Its a Windows 2008 R2 Server with FileSecurity x64 and Agent x64 installed. And in the same Network as the Endpoint Clients. I gave the FileSecurity Group the correct Agent Proxy and Agent Configs...and the HTTP Proxy in the File Security Policy for updates. I also have FileSecurity connected directly to the Internet. They are able to activate at the ERA Server... what can i do? thankss

Hey, i have problems with activating Endpoint Software (Windows 7 x64) - I configured the correct IP in the Agent Policy + Proxy Settings in Endpoint Policy ( 172.16.20.250 Port 3128 ) - If i click on "update" on one of my clients it connects to my proxy and is able to check if there is a newer version. i can also send reboot or "smart scan task" to the clients but i cant activate them. - im getting "eset error code ecp 4099" - i know its something with my connection through the proxy because my clients arent directly connected to the internet. the ERA Software is running under VMWare Workstation with deactivated Firewall. does anybody know what i could check? errorlog isnt showing any real error....funny thing is, sometimes it is able to activate some pc's....i have no idea what to do.
