In the previous days I just noticed that my antivirus takes forever to download its updates.
E.g. a file named "em002_64_n2.dll.nup" is 140 kB, and yet it takes like 15 minutes to download.
I don't know why is this, my internet speed is completely fine for other programs. I also don't know how long has it been like this.

I should also add that after the extremely slow download the update installation is also very slow, takes 5-10 minutes for a 140 kB file like mentined above.

Is the download speed slow also when connected through a different provider? Also if you cancel update and run it again so that another update server is used? I've tried now and the speed was 3-18 MB/s.

Hi! I had another update I "caught" being slow, this time it was em023. I tried your method of cancelling and rerunning the update, now it seemed instant, I didn't even see the download progress bar for it, so I'm not sure if it worked or not. (I have no option to try it with another provider, as it's a home PC.)

If I'm not mistaken, em023 is the Rapid Response Module, which is version 24927 for me at the moment, is that the current one?
