Running ESET Protect on-prem v11.0
Two PCs are showing in the dashboard with an alert - the warning message is "Device is using a failover connection". The proxy settings in the PC with the alert look identical to those on PCs without the alert.
Checking the logs directory on a PC with the alert :
status.html shows all OK
trace.log show the following errors repeated many times:

I've checked that 192.168.5.12 (the Protect server) is accessible on port 3128 and it is reachable.
I've tried re-installing the management agent.
Any ideas what else to try?
