  1. Apparently the new thing is that default rules are now shown by default while maybe a month ago they have been hidden (I was reinstalling laptop back then). Still, how could have those shortcuts be made in the moment of connecting to LAN/Internet? Also the Asus and Logitech offers? Is there some brief moment during activation when firewall doesn't work?
  2. Hello, I was reinstalling Windows and downloaded Internet Security offline installer before that. I have unplugged the computer from LAN, installed Windows and Eset Internet Security. Immediately I have set it to Interactive mode and filled in the activation key. Then I plugged the computer to LAN, immediately I have noticed in the notification area a note from Asus to install some of their software, then Logitech wanted to install their software. I immediately activated Internet Security, went into the rules and there have been already 62 rules created despite being in Interactive mode (definitely not in Learning mode). These rules seem like some defaults but in any case it allowed windows to connect to internet put new shortcuts to the startmenu (Outlook, Spotify, Grammarly, LinkedIn). Is this some new post-install behavior? Can I avoid it somehow? Is there a setting to disable this? Also, I can't delete these rules, only deactivate. Is this how Internet Security works now? Or is there some issue on my side? Thank you.
  3. Ok, I'm dumb. I could have just downloaded the trial. But still I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to show a download link in the Eset Home after login in.
  4. I'm about to reinstall my windows machine. I'm downloading all the typical software I will need. Google - "download eset security" This bounces me to Eset Home and I'm supposed to click on "Protect Device" I select "This Device" Error "Device limit reached" I understand that activating another device would go over the limit, but I think this is a really bad "workflow". Obviously when I'm ready to reinstall windows I will deactivate one license (or do it later on the same computer). When I install new windows, the first thing I want to install is the security software, even before I plug the computer into internet (and do the activation the first thing after plugin in). I'm guessing there is some alternative way how to download the installation files, but the official path is a horrible design.
  5. I would find it very practical to be able to change Filtering mode and Firewall profile from the tray icon (or some other faster way than going through the advanced options). I know Firewall profile can be auto applied based on the network adapters, but that's not useful for my use case. I quite often want to change those two settings manually. Thank you for considering this.
