Id like to see an easier way to enter "advanced setup" I think it could do with its own main icon on the main interface, so "home, computer scan, update, setup, advanced setup, tools, help and support"

Program doesn't appear to want to update today, I have pre release on yet my database is 10430P when the general release is at 10437, what's going on ?

So any news on a new beta build incoming? Also do beta updates come via built in updates with pre-release set? Or a complete new d/l?

That's exactly what happens to our modem as it's supplied from the ISP, however unfortunately we are a bit stuck with their hardware, as there is very little competition in modems being vdsl and duel wifi ac bands.@DinGo and Surfer1000
I understand, that's quite common for ISP routers, and the ISP can have the ability to "remote connect" to the router and do remote assistance and fix problems incase a customer is calling the support, and send out firmware updates automatically etc...

Although the eye does look good, I'm afraid I have to say the "e" is probably more suited to the program, as it does instantly show the customer that Eset is running, where as an "eye" dosent really mean anything, and you have to remember not all users are as experienced / knowledgeable as others!
I don't know why this hasn't quoted the post on the first page!

yes, doesn't appear like there is anything I can do, been onto BT who suggest factory reset, but I'm not doing that, too much hassle, just never seen this level of "openness" before.

I concur with a previous post the system tray icon definitely needs a "run update" added to its context menu!

I left Eset a fair few years back, when it was still on version 4, main reason I left was I felt the company wasn't "good enough" at updating the program, in fact I think I had the latest v4 for at least 2 yrs without any sign of a v5 coming! I know they say modules are updated, but as an end user when other companies are bringing out new versions every year, that was how I felt. Now I'm looking to come back, it's good to see regular program versions now, but I am still very surprised that the UI looks the same, I feel it could do with a new lick of paint now.

Updates still having a problem, just come onto my pc today, and normally the first thing that happens is Eset notification of update, but nothing for 5mins, so then manually checked a few times for it to get them!
