This solved (for me) the issue: https://forum.eset.com/topic/26517-problems-with-thunderbird-and-imaps/?do=findComment&comment=125506 e.g. it's important to delete the old certificate in Thunderbird's certificate repository, otherwise the new one is not installed.
Hi. I did exactly what was described (switch off filtering, reboot, switch on filtering, launch TB). It did not solve the issue. I still receive only mails if I switch of the SSL filtering. (I'm using ESET Internet Security 188.8.131.52, Windows 10 Home 20H2)
