I remember having a similar problem last year when installing on a new laptop. The solution which worked for me was to uncheck "Enable IMAPS checking" : >Advanced setup >Email client protection >Email Protocols. I'm no expert and don't know why this would work but maybe play around with it. Hope this helps.
