Please find below the screenshot of one bank site:
I am surprised that till version 12.1.32.0 everything was fine but now BPP is of no use to me. Nothing working.

American Express is only one of the them. Other banking sites are also not opening and for few "Add to Exception" option itself is not available.
There is no way to use BPP for financial transactions now. With previous version of BPP, I was able to open all banking sites.

Already restarted but a scheduled scan starts when update is running.

Here are a couple of screenshots:
(1) In my original post, I mentioned about "Module update in progress" message appearing on system tray even when the scan is running.
(2) Yesterday Internet Security got upgraded to 12.1.34.0. I have a scheduled task of Windows System folder scan after each update. Now here you notice the flaw. When ESET IS was applying upgrade and updating, it should have postponed the scheduled scan but it didn't. The upgrade and scan ran together.

After the recent upgrade of ESET IS to 12.1.34.0, all my banking and credit card sites have stopped working with certificate error.
Previously, I always used bpp browser to run such sites.

I created a task in Scheduler. This task is executed after each update. When update is complete and scan starts, it is still showing "Module update in progress".
I will capture screenshot and post.

I have scheduled a scan for few folders immediately after each update. When update is running, the system tray icon shows "Module update in progress". But even after update is complete and scan is going on, the system tray icon shows "Module update in progress", when you hover mouse over it.

From Scheduler, I created a task. I want it to scan a couple of folders immediately after each update.
While creating a task there are only a couple of options and one of these is: "On Demand Scan".
In the Setup, I have set "On Demand Scan" profile as "In-Dept Scan", but for this particular task that I am creating, I don't want to scan all files. Only executables to be scanned. Also, for the scheduler scan, I want to specify the folders which I want to scan. I did not find an option to do this.
I want to keep On-Demand Scan profile intact because I use it for full system scan weekly.
Is there a way to add custom scan options in the Scheduler task?

Ideally, password-protected file should be marked "Could not scan" instead of Detection and quarantined. Flagging as "Detection" unnecessary raises concern.

Today I renewed my ESET Internet Security license and upgraded to 12.1.31.0 . During system startup I noticed performance improvement. I am not sure there are really any optimizations at this stage or not.
I performed a full scan but now 22 password-protected files were marked "Detections". The previous version was not marking this.
Why a password-protected file is a Detection?

Please create a separate space for User Suggestions and Feature Requests. This should be reviewed by your security experts and management.
Though I am using ESET products from many years, I noticed ESET forums are not that active as compared to forums of few other companies. Neither it has much involvement of ESET security experts nor community experts. Even on Twitter replies are late or never answered.

These options at the bottom are difficult to find.
I think, you should give a SEARCH option on the main screen where user can type keywords and open that setting. Similar to Windows Start Menu search.

I am using ESET Internet Security and the license expires 11-March-2019. I want to renew the license.
To renew, do I need to uninstall existing and install ESET IS 2019 and then add new key or only add the new license to already installed product.
Present ESET version I am using is: 12.0.31.0
Also, for renewals, it is not showing any discount with Sakri, distributor in India.

I am using latest version of ESET Internet Security.
I remember, there used to be an option to schedule a scan of critical folders. In this version, I did not find this option.
Has it been discontinued? If so, why?

It is not an issue with the rules. Rules are working fine.
I just want to know whether it is really what Bing is doing? If it is not a false-positive, I am happy that ESET blocked it.

I am using the latest version: ESET Internet Security: 12.0.31.0.
It is not alone Edge, with all browsers it is the same issue. When I open Bing and search any image and try to open it, ESET alerts about Webcam access.
Is the issue with Bing or ESET?

From last few months I am noticing a strange behavior. When I search for images in Bing and click on "Images" tab and select any image, ESET Internet Security alerts me: "Webcam Access.... Allow/Block". Screenshot below. If I disable ESET, sometimes I noticed Webcam flash blinking for a second as if taking a snap.
Today, I got the same Webcam alert while accessing GMail. This is the first time I got this alert for GMail.
I am getting this alert on all browsers.
Banking sites not opening in BPP after updating to 12.1.34.0
in ESET Internet Security & ESET Smart Security Premium

I am using Brave browser but the with BPP it is set to Firefox.
@Marcos After disabling "Protocol Filtering", I am not able to open BPP itself.
On clicking BPP icon, ESET opens with Red warning.
