    We unable to access our ESMC web-console ,we were faced with the error below

    During troubleshooting we notice the tomcat service has stopped after trying to start service we encountered the error below

    The PUA was enabled on the file security and ESET maximum security policy fully integrated to endpoints but we are still faced with the issues list above

    A customer File server was infiltrated with files in local drive E was hidden and folder replication with different directories

     

    When we use ESET to perform on demand scan, we were unable to stop the folder replication, but the client said other AVs like

     

    Malwarebytes and Windows defender was able to detect AutoIT malware before we quarantine it with ESET, we need analysis on Root Cause Analysis as demanded by the customer and how to stop the re-occurring infiltration and guide for future reference

    which is considered as fatal error during startup. It indicates that either database got really corrupted, or more probably that there is no space on disk where database is located. Could you please verify it?

    Error on screenshot indicates there might be problem also with local system service account - if something in system went wrong, it might happen that database is not able to write data because of missing permissions instead of insufficient space ...

    EDIT: seems that upgrade of database is failing and it is very space consuming -> during upgrade almost all data is duplicated, which means that there must be enough free space on disk where whole database will fit.

    Quick one is there anywhere/how we can retrieve Peer certificates (Agent,proxy,server,or CA) from the ESMC server without accessing the ESMC web-console

  6. Dear Team,

    We need assistance with a client,

    Presently they have about 8 sites each with its respective license and ESMC server managing the Endpoints in each location.
    Now they want to merge all the license together and manage All the Endpoints from one ESMC server in the HQ.

    We suggested forwarding all the traffic from the various site using the Apache Proxy as the ERA proxy has been discontinued in version 7.

    We need a guide(step by step) on how to achieve this (Configure the Endpoints to connect to a Central ESMC using Apache Proxy)

    A Client is unable to access his esmc web console, after we tried troubleshooting we noticed the ESMC server service stops when we try to login even after when the service was started  

    For you perusal kindly check the ESET Support FTP for a file name (LeadWay) for logs generated from the server

    A customer is unable to logon to his ESMC web-console, we noticed the the esmc server service stops when we try to access the console with the error below

     Error "Login Failed, Connection has failed with the state of 'Not connected'"

    Please kindly advice on a workaround as we have tried everything in https://support.eset.com/en/error-login-failed-connection-has-failed-with-the-state-of-not-connected-in-eset-remote-administrator-6x

    We tried installing ESET all in one installer to a windows 7 32bits OS at a client location but unable to deploy, we got an error on the AV GUI there is presence of malware that we should download ESET Specialized Cleaner

    We have tried the following work around but to no success 

    1. Running the ESET application as an administrator
    2.  Disabling user account control
    3. Uninstalling existing/3rd party anti-virus
    4. Flushing temp folder
    5. Deleting fragments and residues of 3rd Av from the registry

    Please kindly advise on a workaround

    Our client has ESET Security management center installed in all their 8 subsidiaries and the HQ, each managed individually with their respective Licenses 
    They will like to have a  view of all the other Endpoints from the HQ ESET Security Management Server (All subsidiaries can communicate).
    How can they access or view the ESMC /Endpoints in other subsidiaries from the HQ central console.

    Please what about the tempMirror folder,  which is in the updfiles folder?

    Is it possible to configure the mirror tool to pick update from the Updfiles folder or the tempMirror folder which is inside the Updfiles folder?

    The Issue is, we configured the ESET Endpoint Security to create a mirror update for all Endpoints. Apparently the Endpoint can update itself (updfiles folder is updated) but creating the mirror is the challenge as it gets stucked at less than 10% and the packets are dropped.
     
    Now the question: is it possible to create a mirrored update for all Endpoints (using the mirror tool) from the Updfiles folder or the tempMirror folder on the Endpoint?

    or 

    Is it possible to have all the endpoints pick the updates in the tempMirror folder? (It seems to have all the update file, although it is quite large 4.5GB)

    Also, note that the Endpoint trying to create the mirror update and the Endpoints it is creating it for are all having (ESET Endpoint Security).

    We have ESET firewall feature found to have block an application in an organisation,even after

    creating exclusion for the application file path,process,port and IP from the ESMC

    Pees_logs.zipees_logs.ziplease kindly advise on a work around as we dont want to turn off firewall due to malware constantly

    trying to infiltrate the organisation endpoints

    yes it was executed using admin account and it also part of a domain, we also did run the installer using the domain administrator privileged account
