    Camera Blocking Feature in ESET Antivirus

    After receiving your feedback, I also examined the Endpoint version. However, I didn't come across an option to enable or disable camera blocking. Were you referring to protecting the camera by "blocking" it? Besides the camera protection feature, I would like to have the ability to block, as well as mute, and I'm not promoting another application, but I've seen these two features in a software from a company. I would like these capabilities to be in the eset antivirus. In that software, if you have enabled camera blocking, any app that tries to access the camera (whether it's you, a hacker or ...) will display a black image. Similarly, when you activate sound blocking, no sound will be recorded during audio recording through an app, whether you want to record the sound yourself or otherwise.

    I disable application feature updates but version 14.2.23.0 automatic upgrade to 14.2.24.0 .

    According to the description: enable automatic feature update to receive all new features and get maximum protection for your computer. This setting has no effect on security and stability updates.

    No way to prevent updates to the new version (upgdate to latest version) ?

    limited Direct Cloud connectivity

    hello

    i download and install latest version of eset (14.2.10.0) and set settings in the application statuses section.

    setting is:

    • uncheck Limited Direct Cloud connectivity
    • uncheck The ESET Push Notification Service servers cannot be reached

    after i disconnect internet for between one and two hours, I checked my computer when i heard the notification sound and i noticed the Limited Direct Cloud connectivity notification, But i had already disabled it!

    Is this a bug now? Or will this notification still be displayed by disabling the Limited Direct Cloud connectivity option?

    I usally when i leave my room disable internet connection and after i comeback connect to the internet

    Yes in all this time my computer is offline

    But It doesn't just happen when I disconnect from the internet.

    Actually also It also happens when my computer connected to the internet after 30 min or 1 hour
    i donot think this is a problem with ISP ! because i tested and have problem almost with all of internet company in my country.
    also when i restart the computer,i don't see this message for almost 20 min and after that i see that again. 

    I request more inspection the issue...

    I'm before that used from version (14.0.21.0 and 14.0.22.0) and after use from version 14.1.19.0 i have this problem :

    i use all way for solve the problem but the problem can't solved.

    i remove the eset and reinstall that. also i reinstall windows! but the problem persists!

    import and Export XML in ESET 8

    Hello everyone

    how can import and export xml config file in eset 8 and older?

    i can export eset settings to config xml file in version 12, like this:

    ecmd /getcfg c:\config.xml

    and also can import the xml config file to the eset in version 12, like this:

    ecmd /setcfg c:\config.xml

     

    but i need do this in verion 8 and older!

    how can I do this?
