Certfix 1.0.0.5

   (2 reviews)

About This File

This is a fix for issues with v6.5 server products that emerged on February 8, 2020.

The fix must be run with elevated administrator rights.

If ESET is already malfunctioning, running the fix will replace ekrn with a fixed version. No system restart should be required.
If you have an affected version of ESET and it's still working alright, applying the fix will replace ekrn which will prevent the issue from occurring.

Password is not certfix1... fix this.

Response from the author:

Please check https://forum.eset.com/topic/22485-endpoint-security-anti-phishing-non-functional/page/7/

and https://support.eset.com/en/alert7396-legacy-products-startup-issue if you cannot find an answer here. The password was slightly changed for v2 of CertFix to prevent users from randomly downloading and running these tools without a valid reason.

Correct password is "CertFix2" without quotation marks. It's not "CerfFIx2" like it's posted on the announcement.
