So, my sub is expiring in a few days and I'm close to renewing it.
I've been with ESET for a long time now, and I'm happy to say I've had no malware problems since I've been using it. Whether this is due to NOD or me being careful, it's not easy to say, but I'm sure my AV did a lot of heavy lifting at times 😄
I'd like to hear from you guys what made you choose ESET over anything else (no product names necessary), and why are you sticking with it.
First time I installed anything by ESET was from a PC magazine which came with a CD, back when those were a thing. From that point forward, be it because of inertia or the fact I haven't had any malware problems to speak of, I kept using their products till today.
What's giving me pause this time is the fact that I haven't seen any recent results on av-test.org (which is my go-to site when I want to see how things stand), and the results on some of the other review sites are kind of middling.
I guess what I'd like you to do is to convince me to stay with ESET 😅
