All I understood was "detection engine performance exclusion" excludes files/folders from getting scanned by all scanners including the real time protection.
New to eset. Confused with the scan exclusion options.
If I add a file or folder to the "detection engine performance exclusion" will it be excluded from manual and scheduled scans or real time scan or both?
Do I need to add a file or folder to "real time process exclusion" if I want it to exclude from real time scan?
Also do I need to add the file or folder to "web access protection exclusion"?
I have read a few knowledge base articles on the topic but they are confusing.
Is it okay if I turn off the "ESET proxy gui" notification because I do not want to get annoyed by the popups(as shown in the screenshots) whenever I am not connected to the internet.
If I do so, will I miss any important threat notification?
