Thanks Marcos, As noted above, I am not sure what corrected the problem, but it all looks good now and is checking for updates as normal.

Sorry for the late reply, however, I am on casual hours. When I listed all modules, the newest one was March 7th and the auto-update function did not seem to do anything. This morning I clicked on Check for Updates and it did the update ok, so all good. Not that it matters now, but how do you switch to the pre-release update channel? Thanks for your advice.

The system date was set in advance. Eset now shows a last update date in the future and does not run any updates. How do I reset the last update date in Eset Smart Security?
