  1. I would but the replies here also indicate they like this feature. To be honest I hate the feature even if it worked properly and removed the green frame within seconds (again mine doesn't go away and I get yellow and red frames). For me it is simple, I don't want any borders ever. Even appearing for a few seconds is annoying because again, I have to capture my screen for work so there are many times when I will be recording my screen and then need to load browser fresh, then green frame appears lol even if it goes away it ruins my work and recording and adds more work for me. I've had this software for 5 years and it has functioned nicely in the background as it should. Now it is appearing on screen and I cannot get rid of it. I could reinstall and upload logs but that will not fix my issue as this is a design flaw for me and I'm sure many, many others, just no one wants to be bothered to do the work to create an account and come post here. Anyways I've said what I needed to, I will check back in a month because my subscription runs into early next year and I can reinstall if this border frame feature is fully removed or full remove toggle is added. Otherwise I'll just look into a new solution after 1 month.
  2. I tried turning off browser protection and actually every feature I could, every combo I could. In fact when you turn off browser protection instead of green frame you get either yellow or red frame lol
  3. I uninstalled the software because I can't have borders for my work. Just being honest, based on the admin replies it seems like the feature is running as you guys intend and you do not see any issues. I have unfortunately invested too much time into trying to fix this, I feel as though a lot of the things I've said in my messages have been essentially ignored. I wish you guys the best of luck but I'm going to find another solution. I never create accounts to bring up issues, I only made this one because I've enjoyed Eset for 7 years now and was hoping I could get a better response. Again, wish you guys the best.
  4. Yeah I'm hoping it is broken. There is no reason for the frame to appear constantly. It can appear 10-30 seconds to let the user know of the status of protection and then it should go away. There is no good reason to constantly have a green border, it looks awful and ruins user interface.
  5. Yes I tried disabling the green window frame setting, but it simply does not work. Only once after disabling and reset, it stayed off. Then it came back next time I started my PC. I have tried disabling every feature related to browser protection, and that does not work. I'm on a brand new Windows 11 PC with RTX 3070 and good CPU, it's not the hardware. Maybe you have issue with Windows 11. Sorry to be blunt but I know computers well, I make my living off computers for 7 years now. I know how to disable settings a troubleshoot. I've tried every possible combination of disabling green border, restarting, turning off browser protection and restarting, turning of all protection, etc. Nothing I as a user can do will remove green frame and also I get yellow and red frames. I don't have the time to keep trouble shooting so I have uninstalled and will check back here to see if this has been fixed. Otherwise I'll unfortunately need to find another solution.
  6. I am having these issues as well, there is no way to disable the borders, other than completely uninstalling eset. The remove green border setting will work sometimes, but comes back often. Disabling all the various protection systems does nothing. This a design flaw and glitch.
  7. For the past few days I have been getting either green, yellow, or red borders, around my browsers. No matter what I do in the settings for Eset, they appear. I tried disabling the green window frame setting, but it simply does not work. I have tried disabling every feature related to browser protection, and that does not work. I have unfortunately uninstalled this software as a result. I should not have to do so much work to try and keep the frame off my browser. The software should not impede my use of my computer. This is a serious issue for me because for my work I often need to record my screen. I will keep checking here to see if the issue is resolved, but at this time I will be cancelling my subscription, even though I have had Eset for years since 2017. I do not care how good software is, if it messes up my user experience and I cannot turn off features. I hope the developers attend to this as soon as possible and I am honestly shocked you would include a feature that intrudes on the user's interface and not give good options to disable it. From a design point of view, it makes no sense to have the border frame visible at all times anyway. Thank you for your time, A highly concerned and frustrated customer
