  1. I cannot provide You the VA before upgrade... It was so simple and easy to click UPGRADE from webconsole, I havent think that could do so much destruction on the server...

    I can send to You all nesesary logs and files but from actually state.

    If I have a backup there will be no case in this topic.

    On the Customer side it is the same situation - he have backup from after upgrade, when Webconsole have login option avalible from few days... then it crush... and dont have a backup before stable status.

    What interesting is that webconsole allow to login yesterday after few times trying it out. Today it is again error to login. I try put new VM and pull the database, connect without error to old server but while downloading database file there are a problems. After reconfigurated IP address there is problem with ODBC drivers. According to ESET KB i downgrade driver to 5.3.10 from 8.X version but this doesnt resolve a problem.

    And what is interesting too... I put a laboratory envoirement wit version 8.1 (last able to download from ESET webpage) and upgrade it useing task from webconsole to version 10. It crush too... and I pull database with errors, change the IP address and new machine turn in to login page with structure of the original one computer added... but it scrash next day too...

    Its interesting from the point to this envoirement doesnt working online from upgrade without few situation where access to webconsole is comming back for sometime and disapered again...

    I have a problem with Virtual Appliance after upgrade it from version 9.0 to 10.0 I have a "loginConnectionStateNotConnected" on the Web Console.

    Upgrade was done from the Web Console settings. The environment is based on the CentOS Virtual Appliance.

    I have find this KB from ESET: https://support.eset.com/en/kb6760-cannot-connect-to-the-web-console-after-linux-mysql-update-eset-remote-administrator-6x but no one step resolve the problem.

    Also I find on this Forum this topic: 

     and try out this solution:

    /etc/odbcinst.ini

    [MySQL ODBC 5.3 Unicode Driver]
    Driver=/usr/lib64/libmyodbc8a.so
    UsageCount=1

    But still without any resoult. What is funny is that I proceed this operation yesterday and today have a problem with login into a Web Console, and one of ours Customer call me today with the same problem (also upgrade from web console from version 9.0 to 10.0). On his side we found in a LOG this entery:

    It's show something wrong happened in file InnoDB: Error: could not open single-table tablespace file ./era_db/tbl_access_tokens_register.ibd

    I tried to restart the Virtual Appliance server few times, also try to downgrade the ODBC drivers from newest version to version 5.3 and do the steps according to change in NANO files entries. Without any resoult. Next what I thinking for is to upgrade ODBC drivers to newest version again (but I read somewhere that max supported version for EP is 8.0) and try to change again entries from 5.3 to newest version... I have no clue what to do next so I can login into the Web Console of Eset Protect and help also our Customer...

    Yesterday I have update an Eset Protect environment based on Virtual Appliance from the Web Console setting. I have put task for update from EP 9.0 to 10.0. Today I cannot login to the Web Console. I have an error code ""loginConnectionStateNotConnected"

    I try out a one of the ESET KB's instruction, exactly a KB6760 and instruction finded on this forum: 

     but clearly without an effect. For surprise I have today a call from on of the Customer whos have this same case and also have a server on Virtual Appliance and have done upgrade from version 9.0 to 10.0

    I find information about ODBC drivers and downgrade it from version 8.X to version 5.3 and change on NANO entries. Also I try out this solution:

    Still I cannot login into the Web Console. I try restart server few times and nothing changes. Once I try connect to web console during the restart procedure i have a LOG from web console windows:

    But as I reading it - it could be related to startup procedure.

    Have anyone have any tips for what to check or what to done to resolve this problem in my console and Customer console ? Right now I try to update a ODBC drivers to newest version and try to change names from 5.3 to 8.X again and hope that could do anything...

    On the Customer console also there is a problem with MySQL DB:

  4. According to service it should unistall and install without any errors and problems.

    I have download a latest version of ESET EEE with comes online few days ago. Its not resolve a problem.

    Should I use ESET removal tool from the command line in safe mode to unistall the ESET application? So far I know it is work for Endpoint Antivirus apps. Could it work for EEE Server?

    How can I delete properly HTTP Apache? How can I unlock the 80. port ?

    I have a ESET EEE Server version 3.5 to install but I have a problem with it. First installation goes OK but I have a problem with backup database restore. So I unistall product and install it again. So far it have been done few times... Futher to this operations I have a lot og services into Windows Server 2019... I have put this information in attachment.

     

    Right now I want to fresh install the ESET EEE Server. So I unistall the product from Windows. I also delete files in location:

    C:/Program Files

    C:/Program Files (x86)

    %programdata%

    according to ESET or Apache HTTP

    I have also take offline the database in SQL Express.

    I start a new installation and firs I have an question for choose diferent port for Apache (the 80. was blocked). So i choose other port... Installation goes OK without error. But I cannot connect to serwer useing https://localhost:port. I unistall it again - step-by-step with the same steps... but now I have a blocked next port I used for last installation process. So I take other port again.

    So far I cannot unistall Apache HTTP and install correctrly the Eset EEE Server.

    Should I need to delete those services udeing command "sc delete service_name" ?

    It is a application for unistall Apache HTTP from this machine?

    This is On-Prem Windows Server 2019 without option to taka back a snapshoot. Without SQL for ESET EEE Server installation there are a few other SQL installation useing for the other applications...

    Could You send me a tip for this? Becouse I stock right now i death-point...

    I have a question. My Client useing Microsoft Intune have use this instruction to deploy eset agent:

    But he need accept all new device by the hand from console, makeing new taks for mobile devices to activacion the product.

    Is there any other way to automatic this procedure?

    I thinking about dynamics group where new devices will shows up and then it will be an action with trigger to activacion product? Am I right?

    I will be glad for some help with this issue.

  7. I have answer it for my own.

    First the hostname is present when you creating a new device for MDM. There is a name for MDM Server.

    Second, if You open in web browser this hostname with port 9980/9981 You should have an information that MDM Server is runing on and its correct.

    Then You have an informations for creating a new Certificate with point of running MDM Server hostname :)

    You Can close this subject.

    I have question - how find the hostname for MDM Server ?

    I need this hostname creating a new certificate for devices.

    Client dont remember the hostname. Or maybe other... he give me a three names: two hostnames and one IP address.

    I dont want to make a mistake and want to help him out - how to check in 100% correct with is the hostname name for MDM Server ?

  9. Yes, after pausing Eset Endpoint Protection applications connect to the servers and its working.

    I have add a exception to the firewall rules focused on the application path but that didnt work.

    Second application useing web connection via browser also is blocked by Eset. After pause protection its work. I have add a url to the white list of web url and that also didnt work.

    What I do wrong ?

    I have a question about JAVA application with is useing one of my Client with have .bat file to execute on startup and collective connections from four other java applications.

    During useing Endpoint Eset Security Application, he cannot connect this application into the Web. Disabled for few second Eset product he can connect.

    I have add applications files to firewall rules but this didnt work.

    Have You got any idea ?
