I have a client that got a brand new machine. Someone else had installed ESET Smart Security. Went to do Critical Windows Updates and it kept failing. I found this site and it clued me to disable ESET. hxxp://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1889814 As soon as I did that I could apply the Windows Updates just like I normally could. Any ideas about this?
