Thanks for getting back to me. Tried to disable protection and it made no difference. My Eset is provided through an IT specialist and if I delete it I can't get it back easily as they are shut due to the '19 outbreak!

Wednesday night Apple updated Mac OS. I use btinternet for my email and now cannot download attachments, is this caused by an Eset intervention? There was a note from Apple that Eset would no longer be compatible with the OS. All advice welcome please.
