I recently purchased a new Dell Inspiron 7380 laptop and installed ESET Internet Security
The Dell Support Assist Utility keeps trying to install the latest Intel chipset driver software, but although the utility says that it has been installed ok, the updated is presented again a couple of days later.
When I look through the ESET HIPS log, a lot of the actions that take place during the Intel update appear to be blocked by the self-defence mechanisms.
I'm not sure how to distinguish the exact cause or how to remedy it.
