We have had 2 MacBooks that ESET appears to cause an issue with mobile account logons when off the network. I think the web proxy may be causing an issue with this. Anyone else experiencing the issue?
They are running Big Sur.

ESET support resolved the issue for me, thanks.

Thanks, yes I have read the install info already and searched the forums. Previously we upgraded our ERA server from 6.2 to 6.3, then 6.3 to 6.4 using the Remote Administrator Components Upgrade task. But 6.4 to 6.5 is not starting. We have been able to update about 100 clients fine, just not the actual ERA server.

I am updating ERA on our server from 6.4 to 6.5 but getting the error task failed to start. I have so far not been able to find any particular reason why.

What Windows OS is installed on the clients? There's a way how to disable notifications about missing updates but that's probably not what you want.
OS is mostly Win10 and Win7 both Pro connected to a domain. I know I can disable notification but you are correct, that is not what I want to do.

In ESET Remote Administrator all most all of my 140+ Windows clients are reporting OS is out of date. The ESET Endpoint Antivirus on the computers does not report the same thing. When I run Windows Update on the computers it is happy and up to date. Tried doing a client task for OS system update but no change.

Wasn't clear on the issue, sorry. The logon screen keeps acting like we are entering the wrong password unless we connect to VPN first. I have reset the keychain and un-bind and re-bind the Mac to the domain. As soon as I uninstalled ESET the password worked off the VPN.
