I was able to work around the installation problem by replacing the ERAAgent.exe file from version 8.0 during the installation. So far, I haven't found any problems after installation.

It also does not install on Windows XP, which should no longer be supported in version 8.0 (according to https://help.eset.com/protect_install/80/en-US/windows.html ) and still works

Installation fails with errors. When starting the service it displays error: Error 193 0xc1 service fails to start.

Try to delete all tasks from the eset scheduler and restore the default.

My configuration:
ERAS 5.3.33 (5.1.34 too)
20 x Eset Endpoint Antivirus version 5.0.2237 (nt64 Polish)
During remote install (update) via ERAS all the clients they give a message: "No upgrade for this client"
Direct launch eea_nt64-5.0.2260.1_plk.msi working properly.

The same problem with ERAS 5.3.33 and 5.1.34 and update Eset Endpoint Antivirus from version 5.0.2237 to version 5.0.2260: "No upgrade for this client"
