  1. So, I'm new(ish) to ESET, and have moved all my clients over to ESET Protect. I will soon remove Bitlocker and enable FDE. I have been testing on my work machines for a while. The thing is, I didn't turn off my RMM, checking if BitLocker was activated, and activating if not active. (If that makes sense) So my laptop has had FDE on it for around 2 months. All was well. Until my RMM activated Bitlocker. This somehow deactivated FDE, and then my Windows install was completely bricked, and nothing could be done except reinstalling Windows. Luckily this was on my work laptop, so not a massively big deal. Support hasn't been too helpful. "Unfortunately we cannot advise on the operation of Bitlocker. Please consult the Microsoft documentation." My scary question is, if all my client's laptops are using FDE, and for whatever reason, BitLocker is activated, am I going to brick 100+ laptops? At the moment, my FDE rollout is on hold indefinitely.
