To allow C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\Dropbox.exe to communicate through the firewall of ESET NOD32 Antivirus: Setup --> Network protection --> At Firewall click its gear icon and click 'Configure' Under Advanced --> Rules, click on 'Edit' If C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\Dropbox.exe is not added in the list click 'Add' and ensure everything listed below applies: In the General tab: Name: Dropbox Enabled: check Direction: Both Action: Allow Protocol: TCP & UDP Profile: Any profile Logging severity: None Notify user: blank (unchecked) In the Local tab: Port: blank IP: blank Zones: Trusted zone Application: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\Dropbox.exe In the Remote tab: Port: blank IP: blank Zones: Trusted zone

On the left side of ESET Internet Security click the following:
