    Hello,  how can I add a macro into a exchange transport rule?

    Is sure,that there is not risk that 

    "CAUTION: External Email" won´t be multiple times in reference if the email is replied and again replied?

    is this possible with eset mail security ? Defang URL, Redirect to ..... Security Proxy or  Replace URL with text message

    Hello, 

    any chance to this with ESET Mail Security for Exchange?
    GOAL: no clickable hyperlinks at incoming email anymore
    hyperlinks automatically "converted/defanged" by eset mail security...

    Defang URL
    The URL will be modified to make it unclickable, but the message recipient will still be able to read the intended URL. (Extra characters are inserted into the original URL.)

    No, Emails stuck/wait in OUTLOOK OUTBOX

    I can´t test - the PC is away. I will try to check next time.

    Sorry - exact word not available.  
    SEND/RECEIVE CHECK Function in Outlook was successful.
    But sending new mail or reply    stuck/wait in Outbox.

    I observed this problem last year at a different Customer but with same Mailprovider called Strato.

    Perhaps that could be best Goal:
    I don´t need ESET SSL / TLS Security with Outlook.
    I only need ESET Attachment Check.

    Customer claimed

    SOS - my Outlook 2019 is not able to communicate with STRATO Mail Provider.

    symptome:  mail receive / send  stopped  / looks like it takes very long

    Solution:  modifiy ESET Internet Security Settings

    Question: Do you have a Suggestion what to change?

    NOD32 Antivirus business use instead of eset protect endpoint antivirus (protect entry)

    Hello, 

    due to budget causes:
    eset protect entry
    is too expensive and function are not really required.

    All local 20-30x PCs 20-30 are located within one big office.
    No Windows Server on-prem.
    Central Managment not required.
    Goal:  ESET should protect Outlook (it has hosted exchange account) and Windows
    AFAIK a new key
    for  NOD32 Antivirus is only a valid for 10 devices.

    Is it against EULA to use ESET NOD32 in a company?
    Do you think malware attachments will be detected at the endpoint?

    Hello, 

    do you know 2-3 good reasons to update Eset Mail Security 8 to latest Version (on Server 2012 with Exchange 2016)

    Perhaps you say  New Function XXXXXXX  and  XXXXXX are huge security improvement to avoid  Virus/Spam Mails compared to old version.

    Perhaps you say:  Look at the function comparrison Chart, difference are good visible there

    Hello, 

    we have one Exchnge 2016 and no direct MX receiving. 
    Third Party POP3 Grabber called "POPCON" is installed on a separate Win10 PC in the local network.

    It grabs the Mails via 995 from the provider and send it via Port 25 locally to the local ms-exchange-2016  (via exchange connector)

    Question: Do you think ESET Mail Security will still secure the MS Exchange against SPAM and Virus Mail?

    eset mail security mailbox search doesn´t stop

    Hi, 

    sorry I was unclear.

    I wanted to scan one Mailbox and I selected one Mailbox and started the search.

    The MS-Exchange seemed to freeze, because OWA, Exchange Powershell and Mailstore Archiving stopped.
    MS-Exchange OWA/ECP/Mailstore are running again.

    At the Moment all is fine I think, except that 

    Mailbox Database Scan  progress-bar is moving and Pause/Stop doesn´t stop it.

    I am afraid that it causes Problems.

    I don´t have a Schedule for Mailbox Scan.

     

     

    is Spoofing Function and POP3 (on exchange 2013) working?

    Hello, 

    can we use "integrated Sender Spoofing Function of ESET Mail Security 8.0 in connection with POP3 Grabber? (or is it working only with direct SMTP receivment?)

    We want to avoid phishing from our own mail domain.
    See Settings, Spam Protection, Spoofing
    We have this:

    Exchange 2013  and ESET Mail Security 8.0  

    The DNS MX Entry of our domain:   company1.de   points not directly to our local public IP with the on-premises Exchange 2013.

    It points to a external Mailprovider. We grab the Mails via POP3 Grabber Tool.  (one collect-pop3-account is existing)

    With my 1-2x Test it wasnt working. Perhaps I need to check again.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    eset filesecurity 6 - high memory use of GUI on terminalserver

    since we installed the new filesecurity 6 on our terminalservers we face high memory usage of the eset GUI.

     

    The solution of the KB is not possbile with version 6.

    We prefer version 6 because of better virus detection in outlook 2013 exchange account of the user.

    Version 4 was founding nearly no virus in the outlook 2013 exchange account of the user - but version 6 finds much more.

     

    We have no eset Mailsecurity so far on our Server.

     

    In case you have an idea or know the mailadress of the eset developers let me know. thank you
