  1. Hi,

    Firstly I am running the following;

ESET Remote Administrator (Server), Version 6.4.304.0
ESET Remote Administrator (Web Console), Version 6.4.266.0
    CentOS (64-bit), Version 6.8

I have several reports around web control and I note that the reports are accumulative since install, I checked the filters I could apply and couldn't see how I could set a filter for say, today minus  2 weeks so I would get a snapshot over a fortnight and look for hits on certain categories.

The filter options that looks like what I want (Time Of Occurrence) has, equal, greater than etc but each of those have calendar dates rather than the option to add in < 336 hours etc.

What I have been doing is manually editing the report each time and changing the range but I want this scheduled if possible.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

  2. Thank you, those settings have worked for web browsing however I am still finding programs like Office and Lync having problems until I disable HTTPS filtering mode.

Doing this enables Outlook and Lync, ticking it will most certainly and immediately cause it to disconnect and crash.

I have attached the screenshot of the setting I am describing.

What is the difference between the HTTPS Filtering Mode and the SSL Protocol Filtering, did we need both?

  3. Hi,

I am having trouble with SSL and Endpoint Security and require advice.

I am using Remote Administrator Console to manage EndPoint Security 5.0.2229, we are using a policy and I have been asked to restrict access to certain sites, I can block http but when I enable https protocol checking it impacts a majority of the sites we use (Outlook and Lync mostly)

What is the best way to manage the Trusted Certificates, I really don't want to spend time importing every SSL cert we need, or running in  learning mode, can I allow every Cert then blacklist specific sites?

What have you found is the best way to manage SSL Certificates?

    Thanks for your time,

    James

  4. Hello,

Firstly I am basing this question off my interpretation of the EES User guide and results from Google, so my apologies if this has been answered (and I missed it) or  an obvious question.

My initial deployment via ERAC was very successful but once on the clients PC it would detect a network and prompt the user to either choose "Strict Protection" or "Allow Sharing", I wish to suppress this  message and designate all networks with "Strict Protection" (If a user has a business case to allow file sharing or printer sharing we can add an exception).

Can this be done, I know I get rid of the prompt by adding exceptions but can I achieve the above?

    Regards,

    James
