ESET Smart Security Premium has limited direct cloud connectivity in ESET Internet Security & ESET Smart Security Premium Posted December 10, 2020 I think I can confirm that is the issue. I just had the popup again and already had my CMD open, here's the result from nslookup: 5 minutes later I get a correct response from 1.1.1.1 again.
