  2. Hi! A few months ago I bought the ESET Smart Security (2014 version and on a CD in a box, polish language) for my current PC (Windows 8.1).

    But later I decided to buy a new laptop with Windows 10 somewhere in January / February 2020, so I haven't installed this antivirus on my current PC because I prefer to keep it for a new laptop.

    The problem is: I'm worried that since this is a box from 2014 and it is written on it, that it is compatible with Windows 8.x and not 10, because it did not exist then, so I'm not sure if once I install it on a new laptop will it update to the latest version and will it just be compatible with Windows 10? Will license work etc?
