NOD32 Antivirus 4 Business Edition conflict with libc in ESET Products for Linux Servers Posted October 28, 2016 I am running CentOS 7.2 and 6.8 on some VMs. normally when i execute the lib directly I get nice header info, like this: [sas@CHPRME01 opt]$ /lib64/libc-2.17.so GNU C Library (GNU libc) stable release version 2.17, by Roland McGrath et al. However, after installing NOD32, I get: [sas@CHPRGN02 opt]$ /lib64/libc-2.17.so Aborted (core dumped) Uninstalling the antivirus makes the error go away. Is there some way to prevent this problem, short of uninstalling? This will render the product unusable for me, as many products test the C library by checking the header info.
