I've NEVER seen this in other versions. The tenth version is clearly weaker than the other. The firewall does not work until you enter an activation key. Firewall skips connection when the computer starts. The window "Network Connections" almost empty. Many options in the "Tools" hidden. A long time is updated if you leave for a one specific server for updates.

ESET does not connect to the sites you visit. How do you know? What operating system do you use? On Windows XP, ekrn.exe acts as a local proxy through which all http communication is routed. As a result. you would see ekrn.exe connecting to the Internet instead of particular applications (e.g. browsers). It has worked that way for ages.

 

Do you observe this both with https and http websites or only with https?

 

Windows 10. Both.

I've never seen in other versions. I installed version 9 again. Everything is fine. As soon install 10 version of my third-party firewall is blocking the connection ekrn.exe to sites that I open in the browser.

Why ESET products version 10 are trying to connect to the same site where I go to the browser? In previous versions, it was nothing like this. I have long noticed that with each new version, you are more and more violating the user's privacy.
