[NOD32 v9 Advanced Settings Blank Window]

Shutting down and restarting seems to have fixed it.

[NOD32 v9 Advanced Settings Blank Window]

Good afternoon!

 

OS:  Windows 10

NOD32 Ver:  9.0.402.0

 

When I click on Advanced Settings, it shows the window with the GUI inside of the window, but the content section is blank.

 

My assumption is that it is trying to contact a server to retrieve settings.  If this is the case, how do I prevent that.

 

At the minimum, how do I get the Advanced Settings window to display/load correctly?

What information is submitted to LiveGrid using the following settings:

 

Enabled     Enable ESET LiveGrid reputation system (recommended)

Disabled    Submit anonymous statistics

Disabled    Submit files

Disabled    Contact email (optional)

 

If I only have the reputation system enabled, but not any file submission, what information does NOD32 submit to use the reputation system?

 

Does it submit a file name?

Does it submit a hash?

Does it submit a time stamp?

Does it submit a path?

 

How does the ESET LiveGrid know which file that NOD32 is submitting to compare to?
