Convert Logs (threatlog.dat & eventlog.dat) to human-readable log files

Hi folks,

 

I'm trying to analyse the log files of the ESET NOD32 for Linux Desktop with a small script, but they are hardly human readable. Is there a way to convert these log files to "normal", human-readable log files?

 

Filename of files I'm talking about:

 

/var/log/esets/eventlog.dat

/var/log/esets/threatlog.dat

Windows server products have an option also to log to text files. Other products don't have it. You can only select records in a log and copy & paste them to a text file.
