burnedoutsysadmin 0
Hi everyone. I'm having issues with remote installations of an ESET business product. When I create a new client task to install End Point Anti-virus, the task remains in the "Execution is planned" state. Nothing happens from this point. Anti-virus is not installed on the client machine. Here is what I know: Running ESET Remote Administrator (Server) v. 6.3.148.0 and ESET Remote Administrator (Web Console) v. 6.3.114.0 on a Debian server. I am able to remotely install the ESET agent on client machines. I have opened the correct ports both on the server and the clients according to the documentation. I am able to ping the clients on the internal network. I would really love if someone could help me troubleshoot this issue.
Administrators Marcos 4,707 Posted October 27, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 27, 2016 If you check client details in the Computers pane, is there a recent date/time of the last connection displayed? If not, check C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Agent\EraAgentApplicationData\Logs\status.html on a problematic client and make sure that the status does not indicate any errors.
