gabor 0
So, mentioned that my installation "failed" too. Anyway, I shut down my (Late 2011) MacBook Pro, (cold shutdown), restarted, and eSet (correct, latest version), came up without errors. So it looks like it installed even though the failed message came up. Try shutdown/restart, who knows Gabor
jaydub 0
I am having similar issues. Tried an update and that din't work, so uninstalled and reinstalled. That didn't work either. I am getting teh same 'The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.' error message as John. jaydub 0
Mine did exactly the same thing. I even spent 50 minutes on the phone with ESET support on Friday evening to try and find a way forward, but seemed to make no progress. I restarted my iMac this morning to try and resolve a browser issue and lo and behold CSPro appeared asking for a security key. The support guy did mention that the had had a few instances of the installation seemingly failing, only for it to start working on reboot. ESET Moderators TomasP 302 Posted October 10, 2016 ESET Moderators Share Posted October 10, 2016 Hello, There was an issue with the installation packages downloaded directly from web. We have fixed the issue and released a new version, the current installers from our web will work. Regards, T.
